Formulated by certified aromatherapist, Barrier Repair Baby Balm is a water-free, lipid-based formulation designed to support the delicate skin barrier of babies and young children with dry, sensitive, or eczema-prone skin. Developed with a clinical understanding of infant skin physiology, this balm delivers concentrated nourishment using bio-compatible plant lipids that help reduce moisture loss and support skin resilience.
At the heart of the formula is high-linoleic sunflower seed oil, known for its role in supporting the skin’s natural barrier and reducing transepidermal water loss (TEWL). This is complemented by oat kernel oil, which contains naturally soothing compounds that help calm visible irritation and discomfort commonly associated with sensitive skin.
To further support skin prone to dryness and imbalance, evening primrose oil provides gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an essential fatty acid linked to inflammation regulation and skin repair. Shea butter and beeswax work together to form a breathable protective layer, helping shield the skin from external stressors while maintaining hydration.
Free from water, preservatives, fragrance, and essential oils, this balm is suitable for daily use and ideal for babies aged 0–2 years requiring gentle, consistent barrier support.
