Description
Not broad spectrum. Very pH dependent, inactivated by non-ionics. Mostly anti-fungal with some anti-bacterial action. Avoid use in formulas where L-Ascorbic Acid and Citric Acid are present. It works well when combined with other preservatives such as potassium sorbate in skincare formulation.
