Our Safflower organic carrier Oils are derived from the seeds of wild safflower, which are cultivated in Peru. 100% pure, natural, unrefined, cold-pressed, and certified organic (USDA, Ecocert) therapeutic grade.  Its high levels of vitamins E, K, and omega-6 make it ideal for dry, delicate, irritated, and redness-prone skin. With antioxidant and regenerating properties, it can maintain the skin’s elasticity and slow down skin aging. It is also very popular in massage blends as it is easily absorbed. Safflower contains approximately 70% ceramides, which help with a variety of skin problems such as eczema, redness, irritation, and more.

How to use

The organic Safflower Oil can be used by itself or blended with other carrier oils, essential oils, or hydrosols of complementary properties to maximize the benefits.  It is an excellent foundation for natural care treatments as well.

Skincare:

• Ideal for Dry, sensitive, delicate, irritated, redness-prone, or mature skins
• As a regenerating cream in the evening on a daily basis
• Used alone or mix with other anti-aging carrier oils and hydrosols to maximize the benefits
• A moisturizer or soothing body oil or massage oil
• An excellent foundation for natural care treatments
• Can be an ingredient in aromatherapy projects

Haircare:

• Ideal for dry, damaged, and split ends hair
• A nourishing hair mask, leave it on your hair after washing for 20 minutes to a few hours, then rinse it off thoroughly
