Description
Our Organic Rose Otto Essential Oil (Rosa damascena), also known as Damask Rose, is a rare and precious oil steam distilled from freshly handpicked rose petals.
It takes about 3,000–5,000 kilograms of petals to produce just 1 kilogram of Rose Otto oil, each bloom gathered at dawn to capture its purest fragrance — a process that makes this oil exceptionally rare and valuable.
With its deep, sweet, floral aroma, Rose Otto — the “Queen of Essential Oils” — promotes emotional comfort, balance, and self-love, while gently soothing and renewing the skin. Cautions
External use only
Do not use undiluted on the skin. Seek help if any doubts.
Perform a patch test prior to use on the skin, especially sensitive skin
Keep out of reach of children, pets, eyes, mucous membranes, and other sensitive areas
If you notice any symptoms of allergies after using an essential oil, stop using it immediately
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, refrigerator is recommended.
Do not use essential oils in intravenous or intramuscular injections.
Do not use if pregnant. Consult physician if under a doctor’s care from chronic diseases.
How to use
Two main ways of essential oils enter the body: Topical application and inhalation. Each of these has a wide range of application techniques. For instance, you can use compresses, sprays, baths, or massages to administer essential oils topically to the skin. We highly discourage using them internally.
Topical Application (Diluted):
Blend 1–2% of Roman Chamomile essential oil in 10ml of carrier oil/lotion/cream (e.g., jojoba or coconut oil). 1% for soothing skin irritation or redness is recommended, 2% for regular using for the face, 2-5% for the body.
Inhalation:
Diffuser & Inhaler: Add a few drops to make an inhaler or 3-5 drops per 40ml of water for diffusing in an open, well-ventilated area, or before bedtime to promote calm and restful sleep. Diffuse in 30-45 minute intervals with ample break periods for safe and effective use. Keep children & animals out of the direct line of mist.
Body Massage:
Dilute 2-3% in a carrier oil for body massage
