Description
Our Patchouli essential oil is steam-distilled from the leaves. 100% pure and natural therapeutic grade. It has a medium-strength, rich, woody, and earthy-sweet aroma; it helps with mood balance, sleep problems, and skin care. It is well-known for its skin care applications when added to a carrier oil, body butter, or moisturizer to enhance hydration and help to reduce wrinkles, scars, head sores, blemishes, and more.
In addition to a DIY deodorant, the formula makes a wonderful deodorant. When diffused, it soothes nervous tension and anxiety. When applied topically, it relieves stomach upset as well.

How to use
Three main ways of essential oils enter the body: application to the skin, inhalation, and ingestion. Each of these has a wide range of application techniques. For instance, you can use compresses, sprays, baths, or massages to administer essential oils topically to the skin. All of them must be diluted in carrier oil, while some can be used directly on the skin, subject to the supplier’s guidelines. At Aroma Origins, we highly discourage using them internally.
Apply Topically:
Dilute 1-2 % of essential oil in carrier oil/base (cream/lotion) for the face. 2-5% for the body.
Inhalation
Diffuser & Inhaler: Add a few drops to make an inhaler or 2-3 drops per 40ml of water for diffusing in an open, well-ventilated area. Diffuse in 30-45 minute intervals with ample break periods for safe and effective use. Keep children & animals out of the direct line of mist.
Body Massage
Dilute 2-3% in a carrier oil for body massage

Do not use undiluted on the skin. If there are any symptoms of allergies occur after using an essential oil, stop using it immediately.
