Description

Our carrot macerated oil is made by macerating carrot roots in organic sunflower oil. Organic therapeutic grade that is 100% pure and natural. When it comes to oils in the skincare world, we typically hear about coconut, jojoba, argan, rosehip, and avocado, but we rarely hear about carrot oil, which is actually full of skin and hair benefits.  Rich in antioxidants, beta-carotene, and provitamin A, giving you a radiant and luminous complexion. This vitamin concentrate is known for moisturizing and protecting the skin before sun exposure, as well as promoting and extending tanning time. Because of its high antioxidant content, it helps to slow down aging by restoring skin suppleness and elasticity. It is also commonly used to prevent or even reverse skin damage caused by UV radiation and to promote the formation of new skin cells, making it an excellent anti-aging skincare ingredient. Studies have found that carrot macerated oil has an SPF between 30 – 40, making it a pretty valuable and effective UV-blocking agent. In addition, it is an excellent skin tonic that reduces scars and stretch marks, soothes itchy skin, and is beneficial in cases of psoriasis and eczema. How to use

The Carrot Macerated organic oil can be used by itself or blended with Tamanu Oil as well as essential oils of complementary properties to maximize the benefits.  It is an excellent foundation for natural care treatments as well.

Skincare & wellness:

• External use only
• For cosmetic, skincare, and wellness use
• Suitable for all skin types, especially for dry, sensitive and irritated, mature skin and various skin conditions.
• Use it as a homemade face mask by mixing equal quantities of carrot and avocado oil and letting it rest on your skin for 20 minutes to help your skin regenerate and restore.    
• Apply to concerned body parts, and massage gently into the skin
• Add a few drops of the oil to your daily skincare routine before sunblock for protection from UV and environmental damage
• DIY coffee and carrot macerated oil facial or body scrub. Gentle and effective.
  1. Pour 2 tbsp of coconut oil and 2 tsp of honey into a bowl and add 4 tbsp of coffee grounds and mix all together
  2. When done, add 8 drops of carrot seed oil and mix again.
  3. Store in a clean jar and refrigerate.
  4. Apply it gently all over the face and neck and let it sit for a few minutes.
  5. Rinse it off with warm water and repeat twice a week for best results.
