Description
Beeswax is naturally derived from bees and processed as a healthy wax that helps purify the air because it is smokeless and soothes. Usually, we are subject to mixing in another type of candle wax when using beeswax in our creations, like coconut wax, because coconut actually lets the scent breathe better. It is softer, has a cleaner burn, and produces a better product. Adding beeswax helps to firm up the natural soft texture of the coconut wax.

How to use
This wax can be a little too soft for the summer heat. It is for Container and Tealight use.
- Heat wax up to 85°C using a double boiler
- Add 6% of fragrances (1 oz. per pound of wax) remove from heat, and let cool to ????
- Stir it for 2 minutes.
- Pour at 57-58°C (+/-5°F).
- Pour in fragrance oil. Stir VERY GENTLY to avoid introducing air bubbles caused by stirring too quick. You can do number 8 strokes while mixing.
- Slowly & steadily pour into containers at temperatures between 68°C to 71°C
- Allow candles to cure for two weeks for optimal fragrance throw and before testing your candles.
- This wax can be colored and scented. Scent can be formulated with either plant-based fragrance oils – Essential Oils and Natural Isolates.
Remark:
Mixing the beeswax with coconut oil helps the candle solidify at a more even temperature and reduces the likelihood of center collapse, although it can still happen.
