Soap Making
Handcrafted soaps made from scratch require three things to become soap: oil, water, and lye. The chemical reaction between these ingredients helps turn all materials into soap. Most natural soap also has other active botanical ingredients added to provide further benefits to the soap. Unscented (except the scent from the original plant) and colorless formulations are highly recommended for sensitive and inflamed skin.
The soapmaking process will work with all lipids like vegetable oils and butter directly driven from plants with therapeutic properties. These natural soap bars can calm, soothe, and moisturize the skin. Natural soapmakers are able to formulate their unique soaps to fit their special needs.
At Aroma Origins, a wide selection of therapeutic, high-quality, cold-pressed, unrefined vegetable oils, and unrefined natural butter pair up with soap ingredients bringing healing properties to your homemade soaps.
