描述
Rosemary CO2 extracts (also known as Rosemary Antioxidants CO2) is derived from the Rosemary plant, using supercritical CO2 extraction method. This dark brown viscous liquid with strong aroma and has excellent antioxidant properties, 10 times stronger than Vitamin E. It is used in skincare to delay rancidity of carrier oils and butters, and increase antioxidant properties in the products.

FORMULATION GUIDE
It is commonly added to carrier oils or essential oils for further enhancing and preserving the freshness of the oils while preventing the oxidation that degrades them and causes them to become rancid. Regularly recommended amount to add is around 0.05-0.1% of the total formula.
It is often used in low percentages due to its potency and strong aroma. It is generally sold in a carrier of sunflower oil to ease dosage and it often comes with Kosher and/or Halal certification. Check this with your supplier if it is of importance to you.
