描述
This is an oil-in-water emulsifier derived from natural olive chemistry. It is an emulsifier and thickener which is compatible with a wide variety of cosmetic and active ingredients over a wide pH range (3 to 12). Safe and clinically tested to be hypoallergenic, it provides creams with an excellent spreadability.

| Characteristics: | It is a complete plant-derived emulsifying wax for formulating oil-in-water emulsions. COSMOS certified. |

| The function in formulations: | As an all-in-one emulsifier as well as contributing thickening in lotion and cream. Emulsions seem made with Olivem 1000 tend to be slightly thicker than other emulsifers. |
| Weakness: | Not easy to use successfully and It has an inherent soapy effect, which can be reduced with a co-emulsifier. |
| Recommended Usage: | 1.5 – 10% as the sole emulsifier |

FORMULATION GUIDE
Melt it into your heated oil phase; it needs to be heated to incorporate.
It is typically recommended to include stabilizers in your formula, like 0.2% xanthan gum, or 1–2% of a thickener/stabilizer like olive wax or Glyceryl Stearate. I don’t always do this and haven’t had any issues.
APPLICAITONS
For external use only
Use it in facial night creams, facial or body lotions, hand and foot care.
